Tesla model 3 chademo adapter, altough every day you see less and less chademo chargers

Jun 19, 2019 · Europe uses a different kind of CCS than the US to make things more confusing (CCS Type 2), and the Model 3 in Europe comes with CCS 2 standard but all Tesla vehicles in the US come with the Tesla charger (and do not support CCS or CHAdeMO without an adapter), which is why some people want Tesla to release a CCS (or CHAdeMO)->Tesla adapter so we can use the public EVGo/Electrify America/etc . Jan 3, 2023 · Haha, I use a Chademo adapter with my Model 3 all the time (and my CCS adapter) I prefer CCS on chargers with more than 125 amp (50kW) capacity since the Chademo adapter is capped at that speed while my CCS adapter has no limits (up to 250kW per Tesla) which is way faster. I know it’s an old standard and not nearly as nice as a Supercharger, but my Model 3 doesn’t support CCS yet and I unfortunately live in an area with a ton of Chademo chargers I’d love to use. Tesla stopped manufacturing the adapter, and now sells a CCS one, but the Chademo still works fine (all the translation logic to make it work is inside the adapter itself), if the adapter and the charging station are OK you should have no problems altough every day you see less and less chademo chargers. I was reading that the adapter would be supported with Model 3 as of update 2019. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good adapter?
